Recently I attended the RTECC show in Santa Clara and participation was pretty good. Seems the worst is over for the Embedded Industry and travel budgets as well as trade show budgets got another chance to survive.
Next event I would like to mention is the Embedded World in Nuremberg, March 2-4, 2010. This event is bigger and draws more engineers than all the Embedded Systems Conferences in the US. It has been growing over the difficult years while the US events have been shrinking. If you want to do business in the Embedded World in Europe, this is the event to participate! After the Embedded World, there is going to be the Embedded Systems Conference Silicon Valley in San Jose from April 26-29, 2010. The ESC in Chicago will see a revival this year after being dormant for probably 10 years.
